International Financial Reporting Standards
by Admin User - Friday, 30 December 2016, 1:27 AM

International Financial Reporting Standards ( IFRS ) are the global set of accounting and reporting standards that have been developed by the IFRS Foundation. IFRS Foundation was preceded by IASC Foundation (International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation) and the Standards issued by them are known as International Accounting Standards. However, under both the foundations, the Standards Setting body remains the same, namely International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). Interpretations issued to remove difficulties in the way of smooth implementation of the standards are known as SIC (Standards Interpretations Committee) Interpretations and IFRIC Interpretations (International Financial Reporting Standards Interpretations Committee)  issued by the IASB under the old and new foundations respectively.

This course  explains each of the standards in lucid language and thereby equips the participant with the insights into the standards and the relevant interpretations.
